Installing a Voluison Template

1. The first thing we will need to install a new template is FTP access to the store server. We can get that information from my.volusion.com, follow this guide to get your ftp info from Volusion.


2. Once you have your FTP Host, Username and Password information, login using your favorite FTP Program. Additional help with working with an FTP Program.


3. After you connect to the server, upload the template_tr_yourtemplate.html file into the root folder (the highest level of the directory).


4. Once that is open /vspfiles/templates/ and upload the tr_yourtemplate folder into the /templates directory.


5. Login to your Volusion store, well will need to apply the template now.


6. Click on Design -> Template.


7. Select the newly uploaded template from the list and click Publish.


8. Click on Design -> Navigation Menu, set all the menus to use "List Items".

And thats it! Click View Store at the top of the page to view your store live with the new design!
